I take comfort in YHWH, knowing that He has us through this impending storm.
We are currently in the wake of hurricane Irma.
As of right now, we are looking at a Saturday night, early Sunday hit.
I live in Central Florida – thankfully not on the coast but, the coast is my second home.
Our house isn’t far from the coast though, a mere 40-45 minutes depending traffic. We live in Sanford, and we’re expected to take a pretty hard hit here as well.
Our house is about 100 years old and has had more than a couple bouts with termites so needless to say, we booked a hotel for a few days to ride things out.
But I’m still concerned.
What about the homeless? Will they ALL be sheltered through this storm?
What about the other people in my neighborhood in rickety little houses like mine? Do they have enough money to rent a hotel room for 2 or 3 nights? Family to stay with in homes with better structural integrity?
Those are some of the things I’m concerned about right now as I sit here with our hotel reservation in place since Tuesday.
We have the means. Many do not.
I take refuge in my faith that YHWH will see us through unscathed.
I’ll do my best to keep any followers I may have updated.
